Brighterly is a sophisticated Ed-tech startup that provides an after-school English Language Arts & Math excellence programs for children from kindergarten to grade 8 studying in the USA. We believe that strong literacy skills shape a child's future and open doors to endless opportunities.

You Will Be:

  • Delivering fun and engaging 1-on-1 ELA classes using online applications.
  • Participating in lesson development process by creating lesson materials.
  • Helping students improve listening & speaking, reading, writing and language arts skills.
  • Communicating any feedback regarding lessons and student progress to the office team.
  • Providing regular reports on student learning and achievements.
  • Tracking and improving class engagement and learning experiences.

Job requirements

  • Advanced level (C1+) English with little to no accent.
  • A passion for working with young children and making learning engaging.
  • At least six months of experience teaching children.
  • A strong foundation in English language skills (reading, writing, phonics, comprehension).
  • Experience in developing educational materials and adapting lessons to student needs.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or weekday afternoons and evenings.
  • Ability to work as a self-employed contractor.
  • Patience, professionalism, and adaptability to different student needs.
  • Punctuality and strong time-management skills.
